Our head chef is the Icelandic Dutchman Joost Van Bemmel. Joost has lived in Iceland for 15 years but has over 20 years experience as a chef.
In Iceland, Joost has worked as the personal chef for the British ambassador in the British embassy. He has also worked as the head chef of Minniborg in Grímsnes and Gamla Fjósið.
In his free time Joost travels around Iceland, follows the Icelandic national team to the biggest of tournaments as well as fishing in Iceland's lakes and rivers.
